Lydia's Garden: Evening
This painting is really about the evening sky. I saw it over Ipswich & memorised it, analysing the colours & tonal shifts so that I could make notes when I got home. Photography has distorted the colours a little. The actual painting looks marvellous in warm sunshine and appears more pink than red.
